History

Baldacci Family Vineyards
Baldacci Family Vineyards was founded in 1998 when Thomas Baldacci purchased the Stags Leap District property in Napa Valley. From the beginning, the focus was on Cabernet Sauvignon, taking advantage of the rich volcanic soil and ideal climate conditions in the Stags Leap District. Over the years, the vineyard has expanded to include additional estate vineyards in the Los Carneros and Calistoga AVAs, allowing the Baldacci family to grow a variety of grapes, including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Syrah, to diversify their offerings.
Baldacci Family Vineyards remains family-owned and operated, with a mission to craft wines that reflect their land, family, and commitment to excellence.
Vineyards and Winemaking
The Baldacci family owns over 50 acres of sustainably farmed vines in three distinct Napa Valley appellations: Stags Leap District, Calistoga, and Los Carneros. The wine portfolio is focused on limited-production, estate-grown wines. The family prides itself on the caliber of their Cabernet Sauvignon and the diversity of their portfolio.
Winemaker Michael Baldacci, son of Thomas Baldacci, now leads the winemaking operations, continuing the family legacy of producing estate-grown, single-vineyard wines. The winery is committed to sustainable practices and is certified by the California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF), further emphasizing their dedication to quality and environmental stewardship.

Thomas & Brenda Baldacci, Owners
For Thomas and Brenda Baldacci, family is everything. When they purchased the Stags Leap property twenty-five years ago, Thomas and Brenda knew they had found a special place for their family to gather. Today, their son Michael is an integral part of the family business, overseeing all winemaking and vineyard management.
